Modernising Care for Older People

In view of the need to modernise facilities for residents living in Council owned care homes for older people, we are undertaking an exercise to invite tenders from the independent sector to provide 160 care home places in four areas of the Highlands.

This arrangement will improve or replace the facilities at Ach an Eas and Burnside in Inverness, Urray House in Muir of Ord, Duthac House in Tain, Grant House in Grantown on Spey, The Wade Centre in Kingussie and Invernevis House in Fort William.
