A new Rector has been appointed to Glen Urquhart High School, Inverness.  He is Mr Gavin McLean, currently Acting Rector of Kilchuimen Academy in Fort Augustus. 

His substantive post, which he has held since November 2002, is Depute Rector at Inverness High School.  Mr McLean will take up his new post at Glen Urquhart High School in August.

The vacancy at Glen Urquhart High School has arisen as a result of Mr Eddie Broadley moving to the post of Rector of Kingussie High School.

Mrs Josie Mackenzie, depute head teacher, has been Acting Head Teacher at Glen Urquhart High School since September, last year.
